Warranty Returns

At Janitorial Depot, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. If an item is found to be faulty by the manufacturer, we will arrange for it to be either repaired or replaced, and we will cover any postage costs incurred.

Consumer Guarantees
Under the ACCC, our products are guaranteed to be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a product fails to meet these guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy. This may include a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Returning Faulty or Misdescribed Products
If you receive a product that is faulty, not as described, or does not meet the consumer guarantees, you have the right to return it. We will provide you with a remedy in accordance with ACCC, which may involve:

  • Repair: We will fix the item if it can be repaired.
  • Replacement: We will replace the item if it is defective or not as described.
  • Refund: We will issue a refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.

 

We recommend regular care and maintenance to extend the lifespan of accessories and consumables. All items are thoroughly inspected before dispatch to ensure the highest quality standards.

In accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), if your product has a minor fault, we will repair it and return it to you. If the fault cannot be repaired, we will provide a replacement matching your original purchase. If neither repair nor replacement is possible, we will issue a full refund.

We strive to resolve any issues within a reasonable timeframe.

Change of Mind Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, please contact us, and we will assist you with a return.

Conditions for Change of Mind Returns:

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition.
  • The customer is responsible for all postage costs, including the original shipping costs.
  • Special order items are not eligible for return.
  • Returns for machines and motors are subject to approval. If approved, they must be returned in sealed manufacturer boxes. A 20% restocking fee will apply if the original seal is broken.
  • Return requests may be rejected if these conditions are not met.

Return to Sender Returns

If a parcel is returned to us because the customer did not collect it from the post office or provided an incorrect shipping address, a credit or refund will be issued minus any "return to sender" fees and original postage costs.

Secure Delivery of Your Parcel

If no one is home at the time of delivery, the courier will either leave your item at your door or leave a card for you to pick up the parcel from a designated location.

Cancellation of Orders Before Shipping

If you need to cancel an order before it has shipped, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

How Will My Return Be Processed?

Upon receipt of your return, we will inspect the item to ensure it meets our return conditions. Once approved, we will process a credit or refund to the original payment method (excluding original shipping costs for change of mind returns). Please allow up to 14 business days for the return to be processed. You will receive an email notification once your credit or refund is finalized. Keep a copy of your tracking number, as we are not responsible for parcels lost in transit.
