Finished leather dries out long before it looks damaged. Car seats and lounge suites lose their suppleness first, then the surface dulls, and eventually the hide cracks. Wiping alone won't stop it, because leather needs feeding as well as cleaning.

One bottle that cleans, conditions and protects finished leather

Agar Leather Care does the whole job from one 5L bottle. Mild, biodegradable detergents lift surface soil while a wax rich film of beeswax and lanolin soaks in as it dries, moisturising the hide, lifting the sheen and resisting stains, spots and spillages between monthly applications. Coverage runs 100 to 200 square metres per litre, so one bottle carries a detailing business or a furnished site for months.

Suitable for fully pigmented, smooth (fully finished) leather:

• Leather upholstery, including car and vehicle seats.
• Leather lounge suites, sofas and chairs.
• Jackets, handbags, suitcases and fashion accessories.
• Shoes and boots.

Not suitable for:

• Suede.
• Nubuck.
• Aniline or unfinished leathers.
• Fabrics.

Always confirm the leather type and test a hidden spot for colour fastness before treating any item. Current SDS and PDS are available under the Safety tab for staff training, workplace records and site cleaning procedures.

Use as supplied. No dilution applies.

1. Vacuum the leather to remove dust, and absorb any spillages with a sponge or paper towel.
Shake the bottle before use.
2. Test on a small, inconspicuous area first to confirm the product is compatible and does not affect the colour. If the leather turns dark or colour migrates onto your cloth, do not use it on that item.
3. If the test is fine, spray Leather Care onto a clean cloth and wipe evenly across the leather. Apply a generous, uniform film over all areas using light, circular movements.
4. Do not rub hard.
5. Leave to dry, then polish lightly with a dry, soft cloth.
For best results use regularly. Once a month is ideal.

Care tips from the manufacturer: keep leather furniture at least 30cm from radiators and fireplaces, keep it out of direct sunlight, and never use solvents or aggressive chemicals on leather, as these can strip the surface treatment and colour.

Safety information:

Warning: causes serious eye irritation. Wear eye or face protection when handling.
Wash contacted areas thoroughly after handling, and wear suitable gloves if skin contact is likely.

Environmental care and disposal:
Leather Care is water based, phosphate free and made with biodegradable surfactants, and it conforms with statutory environmental requirements. Pour used solutions into a drain or trough that leads to the sewer or a septic system, never into stormwater drains or down driveways. Modest quantities of unused product can go down the drain to sewer with running water; do not mix different cleaning products together during disposal.
